The programme's approach
Not general revision, but personal analysis.
8.0
“Very good user” on the IELTS scale: a candidate who handles complex, detailed argumentation well.
IELTS Pro is designed to take candidates at 7.5 into the 8.0–8.5 range. On the IELTS scale, 8.0 describes a “Very good” user: a candidate who makes only occasional, unsystematic errors and handles complex, detailed argumentation well. At this level, every half band depends on eliminating a few small but recurring errors.
That is why Pro does not offer general exam instruction. Each candidate's Writing and Speaking is analysed criterion by criterion: we identify which error costs marks under which criterion, and plan the work around these personal error patterns.
At the top bands, Listening and Reading require near-flawless performance; the aim is to sustain concentration and speed for the full length of the test. The programme is shaped around the skill requirements of each candidate's target institution, for academic, migration and professional applications that demand high band scores.

Frequently asked questions
Your
questions.
If your question isn't here,
write to us directly.
01Is the Pro programme a general revision course?
No. It works on the personal error patterns and criterion details that cost marks at the higher bands.
02What should I do if my IELTS result is more than two years old?
You can take our Moren assessment. If you achieve an overall 7.5, you can join Pro; if your score is lower, we recommend IELTS Elite.
03What should I do if one of my skills is below the target?
The programme is planned to give that skill extra weight. If you take the test on computer, IELTS One Skill Retake allows you to retake a single skill once within 60 days; check in advance whether the institution you are applying to accepts it.
04Is a particular score guaranteed?
No. The programme offers a development and preparation system; your exam result depends on your performance.
